Million years ago, the ocean “Tethys” disappeared due to continents shifting on the surface of the globe. Sedimentation layers were exposed to colossal ground forces and pressure, lifting and folding them into the great eroded limestone mountain ranges, known as: the Fiz, the Chablais and the Dents du Midi…
Today, as a testimony, dinosaur tracks and fossils still remain.
Away from glaciated alpine valleys and 4000 m peaks, this trek reveals exceptional treasures.
In these 15 000 hectares of protected natural reserve, the hiking visitor can admire marmots, chamois and ibexes, eagles and bearded vultures in their natural home; we invite you to experience privilege…
