One week end to fully enjoy the treasures of water. A snowshoe hike is a gentle and active way to discover the beauty of Nature in winter. And a relaxing warm water spa provides a great relaxing program at the end of the day. Chamonix and Courmayeur are two major alpine capitals. The Chamonix Guides Company will guide you and reveal our valley secrets while snowshoeing. At the end of the day, a soothing dip in one of the nearby spa resorts will relieve muscle sourness and free your mind from daily stress. Accommodation takes place in a 3-star hotel in Chamonix town center, to enjoy the beautiful street lights of our mountain resort in winter..

A 2-day program to fit your week end get away.

Saturday :
Spend the day in the Chamonix Valley: meeting at the Compagnie des Guides at 10H15 or at the SNCF train station at 10H30; transfer to your hotel by minivan to check in, and change into appropriate snowshoeing outfit. Arriving on previous night is possible .
Our first snowshoe hike starts at the Prarion Mountain, which forms a natural divide between the Chamonix and the Montjoie valleys and offers a superb circular panoramic view over the mountain ranges of the Mont Blanc region. We may get a glimpse of a « Tetras lyre » of other signs of wildlife….
At the end of the day, the Saint Gervais Spa Resort welcomes us for our first body care. After a pleasant and comforting moment at the spa, we head back to Chamonix and to the hotel. Hiking time: 3H00 / 3H30.

Sunday :
A day in Italy:
After a short drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel, our day starts with a beautiful snowshoe hike at the foot of the impressive Grandes Jorasses Mountain, in the Italian Val Ferret, located on the South side of Mont Blanc. At the end of the day, indulge yourself during 2 to 3 hours at the Pré-Saint-Didier Spa Resort. Enjoy a comforting dip in the soothing warm water of one of the most reputed spa resort in the Alps.

Return to Chamonix by 18h00.

Hiking time: 3H00 / 3H30. 

Price (winter 2012): 250 euros per person (groups of 4 minimum), single-room supplement 39 €

Price includes:
- snowshoeing equipment rental.
- Week end organization and guiding services.
- Daily transfers with our minivan, 
- one night in a 2-star-hotel, in a double room, one breakfast and one dinner included,
- pic-nic for 2 lunches,
- Spa and body care at the Saint Gervais Spa Resort: relaxing jacussi bath + alpine clay body mask + toning jets and face spray.
- Pré-St-Didier Spa Resort: access to indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam Turkish bath, hydro-massages and waterfalls, relaxing therapy (aroma, chromatic, panoramic rooms), fresh fruit and local produce buffet...

Not included:
- Personal souvenirs and drinks.
- Cancellation insurance (2%).
- Travel and rescue insurance (1 %)
