Ice fall climbing is the ideal way to begin or to improve your technique. These easy to use, large volume water falls provide a wide range of difficulties so there is something for everyone.
Ice fall climbs outings day are as well suited to the beginner as to the seasoned climber (2 levels / Private and group formula).
Ice fall climbs course. The great advantage of a course is the chance to make real progress due to spending two or three consecutive days with the same guide.(2 levels)

DAY 1 : Introduction to ice climbing
Meet at the Cie in the morning at 8.30, greetings. Equipment check.
Departure, grouping according to level, safety and belay techniques.
DAY 2 : Climbing a frozen ice fall
Climb some of the most beautiful falls in Chamonix.
The program is flexible enough to accommodate everyone.
There is also the possibility of a multi pitch climb if the group are up to it as well as the chance to lead.
This program can be modified depending on the weather and mountain conditions

GUIDING POLICY :
Minimum 2 and maximum 4 participants per guide.
In terms of group size, the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix's guiding policy is one of the strictest in the mountain guiding industry.
The equipment list will be provided upon registration.
Bring some cash money for personal expenses, a Passport or ID card.
Repatriation insurance is mandatory.
Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
TECHNICAL DIFFICULTY :
This course is designed for people with no experience in ice-climbing and wishing to discover this activity.
However, physical fitness is required to fully enjoy this course.
2017 PRICE : 460 euros per person, minimum 2 persons
