Day 1: BERARD  - REFUGE DE LORIAZ – LE BUET
We start the day in the Vallon de Bérard where chamois and other large mountain animals live, after crossing the charming Granges hamlet, we reach the Plateau de Loriaz, a famous alpine pasture from the Middle Ages. We discover a panoramic view of the Swiss mountains.

The Loriaz hut is nestled in a fairy tale atmosphere and welcomes us for coffee. The descent takes place in a spruce forest on an easy trail and allows us to reach the hamlet of Buet.

A transfer takes us to the Campanules hotel, at the bottom of our next day hike.

Up and down: 750m

Day 2: LE BETTEY – CHALETS DE CHAILLOUX

The Bettey hamlet, above our hotel. We hike up in a spruce forest where we can find the hidden Lac Noir. At the exit of the forest, it’s a real surprise! Mont-Blanc appears: it’s a festival of peaks, glaciers and moraines. It is impossible to not admire the beautiful view. The easy descent allows us to discover old chalets in pastures, with once again breathtaking views.

Up and down: 650m

Jour 3: LES ORS

Transfer to Aosta valley. We start this first day with a hike up through a luminous forest of larch. It is characteristic of the high valleys of the internal Alps. There are less trees as we progress. We finally arrive to the alpine meadows, an area with no human traces offering an exceptional view of Gran Paradiso range.

Up and down: 650m

Jour 4 : MONT COURT DE BARD /POINTE FETITA

The walk up to the Col de Bard offers nice views on the summits and pastures nearby. Upon arrival at Col de Bard, we take a magnificent route overviewing the Combe de Vertosan to the summit of Court de Bard (2261m). The panorama is remarkable, from the Gran Paradiso massif to the Mont-Blanc massif, the gaze goes as far as the eye can see the snowy summits.

Up and down: 615m

Jour 5 : VAL D'ARPY

Very busy in summer, Arpy lake is an icy desert in winter. Nothing here seems to be able to resist the relentless winter. Traces of hares and foxes are to be seem along the way. If conditions and envy let us, we can continue our journey towards the Col de la Croix and contemplate the impressive south face of Mont-Blanc.
