Day 1 : LA MONTAGNE DU PRARION
Our hiking adventure starts form the top of Le Prarion gondola, above the village of Les Houches. We follow a beautiful trail through alpine pastures, with stunning views of the western side of Mont-Blanc and the surrounding ranges.  First we reach the pleasant grassy saddle of Col de Voza and the summit of Bellevue later on.  Our descent follows the Arandelys trail all the way to Les Houches.
Up : 350 m / Down : 900 m / Hiking Time : 5 H 30

Day 2 : LA MER DE GLACE
We start from Chamonix and use the famous Montenvers cog train to get to Mer de Glace. Some of us may feel like a journey deep into the blue-tinted ice before we start our hike … After a good halt to admire the immensity of the glacier below us, we hike up to Signal Forbes to see more of the unique and incredible panorama. We follow the “Grand Balcon Nord“ trail to Plan de l’Aiguille, and its eponymous mountain hut where we stay for the night.  The contrast is striking : the valley and Chamonix are straight down below and the Chamonix needles only at an arm’s reach …  No access to luggage.
Up : 500 m / Down : 250 m / Hiking Time : 5 H 30

Day 3 : L’Aiguille du Midi
Today’s highlights include a visit to Aiguille du Midi via the cable car at 3842m/12 680ft. No where else in the world matches the view from the top ! After a visit of the site, we ride the tram back to mid-station and start our hike down via the alpine pastures of Blaitière. There we stop to enjoy a mountain farm break and snack before hiking down to Chamonix.
Down : 1200 m / Hiking Time : 4 H 00

From Col des Montets we enter the wildlife sanctuary of the Aiguilles Rouges range, and hike up to the Cheserys Lakes, a truly photogenic place. Just a few meters higher we reach the famous Lac Blanc, and our hut again ! The entire Mont-Blanc range spreads across the valley from us, so magic and inspiring ! Then comes the end of the day, peace and silence attract ibexes and marmots near the hut for us to watch and take unforgettable pictures. No access to luggage.
Up : 900 m / Down : 50 m / Hiking Time : 5 H 30

In the Aiguilles Rouges range, we follow the trail to the foot of Index needle and continue on until The Glière mountain pass. The panorama offers new views and still more lakes to see. We stop at Lac Cornu to enjoy our last picnic, surrounded by wildlife in the “Chamoniard” alpine environment.
Up : 400 m / Down : 600 m / Hiking Time : 5 H 00
