Day 1 : CHAMONIX - VAL FERRET SUISSE
We first start our tour with Mont Blanc in the background, and ride up the French alpine pastures until we reach the alpine Swiss border. Then our bikes take us smoothly down a meandering trail into the forest.
A day to enjoy long downhill runs in France and Switzerland, before stopping for the night just below the Swiss-Italian border pass.
Vertical gain : 2 310ft / Drop : 13 370ft / Riding Distance : 20 miles

Day 2 : VAL FERRET SUISSE - COURMAYEUR
This is the great “all-biking” day! After riding up and over Grand Col Ferret (8 370ft), we first enjoy the beautiful downhill ride into Italy, and then continue up a quiet trail and onto the mountain ridge to admire a great view over Val Ferret. From there Grandes Jorasses (13 900ft) seem so impressive, yet so close. Impossible to miss such a great view brake! The day ends with a downhill ride into Courmayeur.
After a short transfer by minivan we reach our hotel, and later enjoy a relaxing time at the natural Pré Saint Didier spa (hydro massage therapy, sauna and steam room etc.) to sooth our muscles after the ride.
Vertical gain : 5 300ft / Drop : 9 250ft / Riding Distance : 19 miles

Day 3 : COURMAYEUR – LES CONTAMINES MONTJOIE
We leave Italy and its alpine wilderness to ride into the enduro mountain biking region of Beaufortin. The forest single track trails require riding precision and strength. After one last minivan transfer, we start riding from Col du Joly(6 560ft), with an outstanding view of Mont Blanc in the background. The day ends with a splendid downhill ride into the Contamines valley.
Vertical gain : 4 600ft / Drop : 9 250ft / Riding Distance : 28 miles

Day 4 : LES CONTAMINES MONTJOIE - CHAMONIX
Last but not least, today’s riding leg offers a selection of single-track trails and landscapes. It is a great opportunity to test our bike’s components while enjoying the pure pleasure of riding.
From the hut, we ride down the single-track trail and then follow the ancient Roman road to the village of Les Contamines.  Weather and trail conditions permitting, we can ride the train to Col de Voza (5 940ft), and then mountain bike down the varied trail options to St Gervais.
Technical descents alternate with mellower sections of alpine pastures, through the mountain resorts of Servoz, les Houches and Chamonix. Then finally comes the cherry on the cake: our last downhill ride from the peak of Brevent (8 350ft) all the way to Chamonix!
Vertical gain : 1 800ft / Drop : 10 700ft / Riding Distance : 19 miles

Note : The mountain biking guide in charge of the group may have to adapt trip program to weather and mountain conditions, and to match riders’ fitness level and riding skills.
