Located in Chamonix, our head office is open year round. Our offices in Argentière and Les Houches  are open during the high winter and summer season.

In Chamonix,  The  “Maison de la Montagne” is the  place where every  mountain-oriented person meets.

Our Guides Company is open year-round. On the first floor of the old presbytery; one will find outdoor activity booking offices, with the French Ski-School in the winter, and the outdoor center Cham’Aventure  in the summer.

The OHM office (High Mountaineering Office) provides an endless source of information regarding  overall  mountain conditions and weather forecast at any given time during the year. In addition there is a permanent exhibition on mountain weather evolution on the second floor.

The “ Compagnie des Guides”  head-office can be found on the ground floor of  this old building, which has become  the Chamonix  mountain head quarters .

An infinite number of mountain adventures have generated from this very place for 200 years. Why don’t you add yours?

Argentière

Located just above main  street, our office is open from 9:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, summer or winter.

In Argentière, over 20 local guides, Argenteros, are keen on sharing the strong native bond with their village.

Les Houches

Situated next to the mountain museum and the post office, our office in les Houches is open in July and August, every day from 15:00 to 19:00.

It offers signups for most of products and services the Compagnie des Guides and Cham’Av’ organize and manage.
